Roxann. I have been thinking more on this post that you made. The way I was
raised and have lived my life was to never take from the system, or anyone
else. You were probably raised the same way.

Today, though; I am re-thinking everything I have ever believed. I can't
take from the system. I have too many assets for them to take from me and
they already know. However, if I were in your shoes, I would talk to someone
in the know, and possibly do something like what you are already thinking.

People have been gaming the system since the 1960s. Entire generations have
lived off of the toil of others. If you can 'game' the system a bit to make
yourself and your family more self-reliant and independent of the system,
then that is better than someone who , like a tick, feeds comletely from the
system, and teaches their progeny to never strive for independence from the
system, but just to be good ticks.

The system is corrupt and broken. Use it for any good worth you can , in the
short period left that it remains standing.........................

But the point I was trying to make is that if you brought down my level of
care to the level many of my friends and their families get on
welfare/medicaid, it would be an improvement for me. my daughter can't
understand why she can't get her wisdom teeth pulled or braces, when
friends who's parents are making way less money than me are getting it done.
they are on medicaid. she is not.
