I wonder how many politicians ever actually watch their ads. Youngest was over at a friend's house and they are 7 kids, with the youngest being 2. I can't keep the kids or the ages straight. Blame it on mommy brain <g>

So, one of the younger ones (maybe 5), wanted to know how come "the man says he proves it when he said it?" Since I rarely listen to the stuff since most of it is either smoke and mirrors or outright lies, I stopped to watch the next batch of commercials and sure enough the little guy was right. There was Obama making a speech and then he pops up with "I'm Barack Obama and I approve this ad." So? He's gonna not approve himself saying something? Got me to watching a few more of them (both parties).

~~sheesh~~ This campaign is being run my morons!

If you seriously think the only nutcakes are in one party, you need to get

Oh boy!!!!! Something that Lynda and I can agree on. We have lots of
Kool-Aid drinkers on both sides of the divide.

The McCain campaign has, however, gotten so poisonously negative that
even Mike Murphy is making fun of the McCain campaign (after they
dissed him for dissing their negative ads). I can't bring up the
column with a search on the Time site, but it's been widely reported.

Marie, who does not watch TV (and thus doesn't see political ads) and
who does not have a landline (and thus doesn't get robocalls) and who
is still disgusted at the hate mongering out there. Jeebus!
