There was a spider that kept building a web outside across the door from the kitchen to the side yard. It was catching moths from the outdoor light. I kept walking through it and knocking the whole thing down. Finally, the spider designed the web so that there was an arch the size and height of my head so that I could pass through. I was very impressed.

I just don't like spiders...rats, snakes, mice, no problemo...spiders?? not for me. I do kill the black widows and and brown recluses...we have plenty of those here, both types. Those are the only venomous ones that I am aware of...but we do have a lot of large spiders here. I take the live and let live policy unless they build webs in front of my doors.
