Big, big trouble.

Will they really flatten a tractor tire?

My wife says they will

Is it
worth my time to try to grow a few hundred of these or not?

A HUNDRED! I think they grow slowly (am I wrong? could be) Do you have a lot of time?

What am I
missing? If I can get some of these growing, we can cut them for
fenceposts to sell or use ourselves.

Others will know much better, but it may take a couple of decades or more to get fence posts out of them.

The fruits are said to repel mice and such from your cellar. As long as the fruit lasts in reasonable shape.
