Thanks Lynn. That is exactly why I wrote. There is some really whacko stuff out there, isn't there? After a while, it starts to infiltrate your own thoughts. I try to stay grounded on such 'conspiracy' matters, but it would help tremendously if Obama would defend against these allegations or maybe someone throw in some reason(like there being two Al Mansours).
I agree that the public must know all if he is to be president. There is nothing off limits..his associations are fair game, his parents, his benefactors, etc. If there is nothing to it, why all the secrecy? Why the omission from two books about his life? Is it Wright, Ayers, Mansour, three strikes and you're out, or is the last one a foul ball?

I really don't know anything about Al-Mansour, but I poked around, following some links from alternet.com (whoa...talk about whacko liberals...). There seems to be a lot of debate about Al-Mansour. There may be two different people by that name, one respectable and one not so much. The guy who brought up the name is old and depending on memories from 20+ years ago. It would be nice if Obama would straighten out some of the misunderstandings. If he wants to be president, he can't have a private life. There is a lot of mystery around the guy, and his life growing up sure isn't typical American (not that that is necessarily a bad thing). Like Bob, I'm voting third party, but still want to know more about the guy who will probably win.
