I totally agree with that! John just ain't shiny. She is already outshining
him, and Obama, too<g> But I'm not sure she is 'new guard'. Just cuz she
is female doesn't make her the new guard.

If this is evolution of parties-it's pretty slow. Ferrarro was on the
Democratic ticket how many years ago? Jessie ran for President how many
years ago? Hillary ran the White House how many years ago<eg>
Seriously, I don't know how shallow we have become, but we certainly
have short memories.
I still see Palin and Obama as near equals...she has more executive
experience but he is more charismatic and educated. Biden and McCain
are also near equals...both have lots of experience in working around
the good ol boy system in DC and neither one of them is especially
charismatic...we feel for McCain because he was POW, we feel for Biden
because he lost his family.
I think the only evolution we are seeing is that Reps and Dems are
becoming one party, for all practical purposes.

Nah, they'll just go sing to someone else ...bobf
p.s. ... do you still have fireflys in Virginia ?...in the very deep south,
they have almost become a scarce sight
