Last year the 5-day East Coast freeze occurred just before Easter (April 8),
if I recall correctly. Everything had been in full bloom before that
happened, so we're running about a week later. The peach trees began to
bloom April 9, now in full bloom w/ pears beginning yesterday though most
have not. The peach blooms are a beautiful pink.

Now it's pouring rain and thundering (and we still have soccer!). Hope the
blossoms will be okay, I really want a fresh, ripe, juicy peach this year.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Lisa
