these statistics may be of interest:
Computer Electronics in the World
3.3 billion mobile phones.....
I have one. It's provided by my employer and mandatory for me to have, even though it doesn't work here at the house...lol..idiotic..anyway, I've had it about 6 months and I hate it.
1.7 billion TV sets
We have one in the house..a 19" set in the living room.
1 billion PCs
Again, this is the only one..
This statistic surprises me due to the number of PC's owned in small businesses.
100 million iPods
Don't have one, never had one, couldn't download music because I can't connect to the internet fast enough.
50 million Nintendo DS consoles
If this is like X-box, I have one, a gift from my son 3 years ago.
3.8 million Blackberrys
Nope. Some of my co-workers rate one, but I don't.
The number of text messages sent and received every day exceeds the population of the planet (6 billion).
I've never sent a text message.
