I have never had the courage to try frog-legs, but when I was a kid,
I did have fun catching the frogs in the local "frog-pond". Now when
you say turkeys and chickens need to be kept separate, do you mean
from each other, or from other animals? Thanks so much.

Separate from each other. A Google search on Blackhead Histomoniasis
Turkeys and Chickens should bring up all the information you need to
maintain healthy flocks.
Get yourself a frog gig spear and a flashlight. At night, go to the
swamp and look for their eyes..look for big eyes..lol..big eyes = big
legs...
Spear frog, skin frog, then separate the legs from the body at the hip
joint. Soak the legs in cold salt water for an hour, rinse, then soak
in milk or buttermilk overnight. Batter of your choice, dredge of your
choice, and fry the legs like chicken for 5-20 minutes, depending on
size...If it's a super big bullfrog, you can eat the front legs, too.
VERY good. Oh, and you can do the same thing with turtle meat.
I did a quick search and found this page on gigging..

Swamps are full of food, and in survival times, you can live off the
animals if you know what to do and how to fix stuff. Look up some Cajun
recipes for crawdads, turtle, fish, frogs, and other swamp things.
You'd have a constant source of bait, too.
