A year round growing season, I just can't imagine it. How long has
that tomato plant been growing?

This is a youngster, planted in late March. Bought it and the two basil plants at Home Depot down the road, came here and stuck them in the ground, soaked em good, got the automatic watering system set up and then left for Heartwood.

I have wintered both tomatoes and sweet potatoes here. The tomatoes don't do much ripening after it gets cool, like now, highs in seventies, lows in forties. I think of tomatoes as perennials.
