For a while you couldn't find T-shirts or sweatshirts without them. It
was pretty funny to see someone with three layers of shoulder-padded
garments on. I did a lot of snipping myself -- shoulder pads are fine
on a tailored jacket but I have plenty of shoulder to hold up my
T-shirts.
