Oh my GOD!
I think I am rich... :)
Most of her stuff is, from what I can tell, flapper style, 1920-1930
stuff, lots of crystals....I can't believe the prices on these things!
My grandmother was a flapper, born in 1907. I recall hearing about her
wild youth. Later, she became a professional seamstress and hatmaker,
and when she retired from that, she did a lot of beadwork, made some
jewelry, and cast acrylic knickknack stuff (like bunches of grapes and
such). She was quite crafty.
Do you have any more websites for me to look at along these lines?
THANKS Wen!

Bev, I'm not "into" jewelry, but I did some research into older
costume jewelry when my mother passed away. Some of that "old junk"
jewwlry can be worth quite a bit. Check out this web site.

I would not donate anything older than the 50's untill I did some
through research.

Is anyone here into jewelry? I inherited some jewelry from my
grandmother some years back. Most of it is costume type stuff, but
there are some brooches and pins that are very pretty and possibly
worth more. Is there any way to find out what might be worth
keeping as an heirloom and what should be donated? There's one
scarab pin that's awesomely beautiful! Some of it, she made
herself, and while it's probably not worth a whole lot, it has
sentimental value and I'll keep it, some looks like dime store, and
some looks nice. If anyone thinks they might be able to help me on
this, I can send pictures. Thanks,

Bev
