Personally, even if the neighbors were from hell, I would still voice
concerns to them.

That said, I had a neighbors dog that kept doing his business in my yard
every morning, when let out. After talking to the neighbor, and getting no
action, I finally waited three mornings in a row, with my blowgun, and
thumper darts. After three welts given just when taking his dump, the dog
learned, and didn't use my yard anymore. 'Course, then somebody else had to
deal with it ;-)

Cats, on the other hand, would suddenly be gone. No thumper darts for
them...

Subject: [Homestead] On Neighbor's Cats

When I was home at Thanksgiving, my Dad was reading the newspaper and
started chuckling. He read an advice column where the enquiry involved
what to do about a neighbor's cats. The cats were tearing up screens
and causing other property damage. The advice was to cover the screens
so that the cats couldn't get to them.

He said he would have told the person to make the cats disappear, and
he asked my thoughts. I said it would depend on the neighbors
involved. If they were otherwise good neighbors, I would likely call
on them, tell them about the trouble their cats were causing, and ask
them to confine the cats. If they were neighbors from hell, the cats
would simply disappear.

So what do you all think?
