For whatever reason after that, I decided to blow off some steam and I

The reason might be living in that nearby rental trailer. Perhaps he's a
changed person and ready to do good in the world, but perhaps not. You
answered my question. It's a terrible thought, but I'm glad you're armed
(and dangerous!).

I thought we were done picking pears, but youngest son picked the last of
them yesterday afternoon and came in with 42 more. His prize pear, that no
one else is allowed to eat, has a circumference of 9"! It looks like a
papaya in shape. These are not yet ripe either.

It was chilly here last night, but did not reach 32. They are calling for a
freeze warning again tonight, but wonder if we'll hit that mark.

Only 3 ducks came up from the pond this morning, will have to take a walk
down there at lunch time. We had 5 ducks as of two days ago. Can't get
them to come back to the henhouse at night. I hope something didn't get the
other two and they are just down at the pond.
Maybe if we shake the food bucket, we'll get them to follow us back up to
the henhouse and I can lock them in at night.

Have a mortgage loan to work on today, then will take a long walk at lunch
time with my client for his training objective of getting exercise 3-4x per
week. I'm this close (thumb and first finger held 1/8" apart) to closing my
mortgage business for good; the only thing that stops me is the fact that I
have been proud to be a self-employed, woman business owner. I don't aim to
do mortgages the rest of my life and have quit advertising. Using the
10/10/10 rule as a guide
(10 minutes/10 days (or months)/10 years), it will be closed for certain in
10 years and most likely within 10 months, so I may as well let it go now
instead of the business dying a slow death. The Foster Care Provider job is
going well overall and I was recently promoted to the top pay level as a
result of writing a good Quarterly Report (my first) for Medicaid.

Need another refill of chai tea (avoiding coffee until the weekend) and then
hitting the loan. Another sign I should just close the business is how I've
procrastinated with this loan--think I'd rather bop rabbits (that's saying
something for me). Would feel like it was more productive and worth my
time. I feel like baking bread this morning, but I have this darn loan that
got shoved aside all week for other things that had to get done.

Have a good day.

Lisa
