I forgot to add that there are other things I could be doing that would
even further use my product. I could sell rabbits foot keychains...I
could tan and sell hides, although that wouldn't be as easy as it might
seem. The better, thicker hides come from older rabbits, and most
butcher rabbits are young with thin skins. I do save hides from the
older rabbits that I dispatch, like the doe I took out last night..I
roll them up, freeze them, and then tan them when I have several to do.
One day, I want to make something out of those hides-just haven't
decided what to make yet. I think I have about 30 of them at present.
Theoretically, I could make little fur pouches and sell them.
