I'll add this about
using the pine- don't worry about anything to debark it. Cut it in the
lengths you require/want, cut off the limbs and stack it to dry. Once dry
the bark will peel off with no more than a paint scraper.
Seems like the debarking would be affected by the time of year of the cut. Spring sap is nasty, leaves residue. Anyone have substantial experience?
