Which is why, unless I won the lottery,
(and I don't spend for tickets) I buy books
I'll read again. Gardening/how-to/"old"
methods how-to (before there was
readily available electricity) and sci-fi -
very occasionally other types of fiction
because the author had some real
insight (at least for me) about people
and ?why? they *do* "things" the way
they do that I don't catch the first time
'round but 'there's something about it'
that *tells* me "ya missed somethin'".
I know *now* that I wasn't properly
"socialized" before I became part of the
'employment force' (much less educated
for it) so I'm learning 50 years later ... sigh ...
