Gene pondered :
> Seems to me the correct appelation would be it. Or It.
Maybe, maybe not :
Gen. 2:26 "Let *us* - - -
.Sounds like there's a whole herd?flock?crowd of gods
make man in - - - *our* image"
Gen. 2:27 ... male and female ...
or at least two, unless he/she/it is talkin' to him/her/itself,
in which case no wonder this particular 'project' has turned
out to be a flop, and after time spent 'correcting' his/her/its
errors, seems to have been abandoned by the maker.
Unless the 'us' and 'our' are supposed to equate to
the "royal" "we" (in one body) in which case somebody
has goofed, also royally, in the translation. Or maybe
that was a failsafe - putting the human "us" into two
bodies for procreation, and we anyway made it as for
as the knowledge (apple) but weren't smart enough yet
to get the (fruit of the tree of) immortality before we
got caught, literally, bare-assed ...

What a one-crop smorgasbord laid out for tree insects ... !!
to multiply and migrate then into the *real* "woods". Like
GE/GM has into "organic" food crops. Ho hum. Old news.
