Fighting fire with fire, Ray ? When you're
trapped between the fires, boy, and the
fires start on *this* country's soil, you may
change your mind .... particularly when
mighty technology is used against guerrilla
tactics - a sledgehammer bludgeoning
mosquitoes .... it didn't work in Viet Nam
and it isn't working in Iraq ...

The faith-based vs. the empirical approach to governance is discussed here:
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/10/17/magazine/17BUSH.html?oref=login&pagewanted
=print&position=

or use http://tinyurl.com/6ta4y

I have a lot of faith, but I just don't see an American administration
running the government based on faith alone. I've been under the impression
that God wants us to use the gift of reason and inquiry He gave us to figure
out what we should do, not to set a course and assume it's what He wanted.

Am I wrong?

Marie
