Jean, thanks for the data about triclopyr. This was used on a site that was a golf course sine 1892. A while ago. It was mostly a clay soil that challenged the considerable skills of the Golf Course Superintendent. None of the plant waste from the site left it except for trees prunings from the edges of the property. Those prunings were cut up fpr fire wood. Most of the debris from woody plant care on the site was chipped and composted on site. The site was gradually coming back from underneath Rosa multiflora, bittersweet, p.i. and ailanthus.parts of the property had been sold off for development, and that process had led to minimal maintenance for many nooks and crannies.
