No, but OpenOffice-1.0.1 doesn't behave different - and obviously it _is_
possible to create an ODBC driver that works with StarOffice/Linux (see
MyODBC and possibly others).

Please don't misunderstand me, it's not my goal to accuse anyone for missing
features in the FreeTDS ODBC driver. I just wanted to point out that the
database connect with StarOffice/FreeTDS does not work at the moment and
that I'm convinced that there's only a small bit missing (as far as I
understand the topic).
If I had the knowledge of puzzling around with the source, then I would have
a look at how the MyODBC driver works - but deciding if this is worth the
effort is up to those smart guys who know better that myself what I am
talking about ;-))
