I'm using FreeTDS on my OS X 10.1 machine right now. I'm using it with
Tomcat 3.2.2 JSP web server. All I had to do was download the
freetds_snapshot.jar file and put it in my $jsp/lib folder for Tomcat to
recognize it. I didn't have to build my own. My only problem is the return
character limit on Text fields. I just haven't had time enough to mess with
it to fix it. Everyone says its pretty easy to change. Hope this helps.

News ? .... not sure why I would look there
Come to think of it I didn't because it didn't make sense

They just added them

4100's 8200's ... and I think we've got ES 40's

Integration yes.
But, being the "integrator" I still don't need or want to have to
rebuild it
I guess I'd like to see it as simple as Sybase or Oracle's installs
which are binary only (for other reasons) but that when installed are
ready to roll (except maybe seting LD_LIBRARY_PATH or some other
environment variable)

Rare maybe.
But, the beginning of this thread was actually someone else who also was
looking for clearer installation / setup instructions.
