Hi, I'm new to the list. I've done quite a bit of reading on Paul this
year and have enjoyed many of the books mentioned. Let me add that there
is an excellent, but occasionally hard to follow (at least for me!), book
by J. Christiaan Beker called "The Apostle Paul: The Triumph of God in
Life and Thought." It focuses specifically on the apocalyptic side of
Paul, but uses a formula "contigency and context" to show why Paul treats
subjects in different manners in his different letters.
You may also want to know there N.T. Wright has four videos out, two of
which deal with Paul.
