By the way, the elaboration of Reicke's reconstruction was worked out in his
Neutestamentliche Zeitgeschichte, published by Toepelmann in 1965.  Does
anyone know if that were ever translated?
Jim,
That work was indeed translated.  It is The New Testament Era: The World of the Bible from 500 B.C. to A.D. 100,Fortress Press, 1968, tr David E. Green.  And, if you are looking for a much newer chronology--though one which may not always agree with Reicke's--you might check out Ben Witherington's The Acts of the Apostles: A Socio-Rhetorical Commentary, Eerdmans, 1998, especially pages 77-97.
