I don't think there's enough capacitance in a mosquito's body to
disturb any kind of electro magnetic field. Perhaps use the frequency
of those little fuckers' wings for a detection circuit? Maybe their
flight maintains a certain frequency band that could be detected? My
favorite frequency they produce is 0Hz, and then sudden spike of direct
current called SPLLLLLLLLLLAT!!!!!!!!!! Fuckers.
