I believe it would make sense to make an official fund raising,
along the lines of what CC does every year.
It would be best if handled by CC itself, there is, in fact,
a lot of overhead involved (has to be transparent, accountable, etc.)

With that money, non-communia supported people could join our
periodic meetings.

To keep riding on communia coat-tails has, in my view,
the potential benefit that at some point, in due time and
with the right words, we could let the EU commission know
that "CC Europe" is growing as a side-effect of a EU-funded
project (Communia) and that cc-europe (and related activities)
perhaps deserve to be considered for funding,
i.e., a COST Action?

A quick review of European CC projects represented either through their
institution or institution affiliated with their individual project
leads reveals that around 10 jurisdictions remain unrepresented in
COMMUNIA membership (if I'm not mistaken, those are Austria, Bulgaria,
Denmark, Greece, Malta, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and
Scotland). And this might mean that while legal leads are present their
public lead counters are not and vice versa...

Therefore, I agree with Henrik that it is important to find a way to
include everyone in our meetings. However, even 10-15 travel and
accommodation scholarships for the FSCONS might not be able to save us
from this predicament, as this would probably leave further 10 who can't.

Best,

Tom
