This is indeed a problem but I m not sure how we could possibly solve it at this stage. The only thing I could think of is trying to potentially expand the COMMUNIA network to include a Swedish organization and perhaps it would make sense to get in touch with J.C. in order to explore this possibility.

Looking forward to seeing you in the next CC Europe meeting and the FSCONS :)

best,
Prodromos

The appealing thing about this - at least for me - is that a: it´s closer (ok, not fair :P ) and b: there´s funding. I have previously pointed out that meeting as part of the COMMUNIA framework is great and practical for those already involved, it leaves out those of us not part of the club (and member of an institution). Then again, it would be a shame not to piggyback it, but we really need to figure out these money issues better.

I have funding to participate in the next meeting, but I believe my Swedish friends have a valid point.

Dear Mathias,

I'm sure you've read abou the CC Europe meetings that we have been
organizing alongside the quarterly COMMUNIA meetings. We had two of
those already and future ones are planned. While these haven't been full
CC Europe meetings, it would be relatively easy to make them such, as
about 2/3 of leads are potentially present at COMMUNIA meetings.

The issues you mention have also been discussed at these meetings.

So while it would surely be good to have another opportunity to meet as
part of FSCONS, it would be good to fit this with the schedule of
ongoing meetings. I imagine that if we organize too many meetings, it
will difficult to have all the leads participate.

All the best,

Alek
