That's unusual.  Normally, the v parameter gives
you significantly more information.  The fact 
that it doesn't, indicates that we are a long
way from getting that card to work.  Has that
card worked for you in another system? 


  
I tried to use my Dreamlinux 2.2 install on my T20, but it AFAICT it doesn't have cardmgr or /etc/pcmcia/start (it has /etc/pcmcia/ide , but it requires me to specify a /dev/ location, which I can't seem to find...)
It worked fine in Win95 with the appropriate drivers though.
