No. You should find it in /root
and its name is : .xinitrc notice the "." as the first character of
its name.

DOS doesn't allow that, but Linux does, and it denotes (correct me if I
don't get this exactly right) a file that is exclusively for the use of the
owner of the directory - in this case "root".
