Hello again,

Well I have two programs that connect to Juno, the Windows one that could
have a Name Server DNS built in for all I know and a DOS program you may
not have heard of called "BreadBox Ensemble" and don't think I ever
entered Name Server info into it.

Anyway, if I put JUNO's number in the pppsetup name server place it will
connect and I can access web pages by entering their numerical address
but not name. If I put the name server numerical address in that spot I
can't access web pages at all so I'm a bit confused.

JUNO: 64.136.21.200
Name Server: 64.136.28.21 AUTHNS.LAX.UNTD.COM

I would assume that when I entered my user name as "btjc1997 AT juno.com it
knew to connect to juno.com and would look it up at the name server but
that doesn't seem to work at all.

Yes I hope to add packages to BasicLinux if I ever get on the Internet!

What part of the world are you in that you are up this late?

Thanks,

Confused in California (Jerry)
