It's not exactly true :) I ran qemu 0.7.2 with RAM of emulated computer
set to 3MB.

Harddisk version. Unzipped bl3-40.zip to c:\baslin.
Unzipped swap.zip (6MB swap file) in c:\baslin

boot.bat

Before `startx`, `free` reports:

total used free shared buffers
Mem: 1684 1540 144 392 376
Swap: 6717 12 6704
Total: 8400 1552 6848

After `startx` and running xterm from menu, `free` reports:

total used free shared buffers
Mem: 1684 1544 140 208 344
Swap: 6717 1024 5692
Total: 8400 2568 5832

and X runs on 3MB systems with some swap.
Well, on 3MB systems it runs very slooooooooow.
Really very slow. I tested also 4MB RAM and it runs much faster.

For sure, Jose can run harddisk version of BL 3.x on his laptop.
But definitely not floppy version as he has only 5MB RAM and
floppy disk version requires 12MB ram (ramdisk is created during startup).
