Hello,
I am new in the mailing list, sorry but my english is not good.
I have a problem with the download of the distribution, the file is of
2.8MB. I want insert the file into floppy disks.
That I can do?. I do not have Internet nor Cdrom.
My machine is:
Old Laptop 386 with 5MB Ram Memory , 200MB HDD
Can be unloaded the system in a set of floopies?

I have run BL3 on such a laptop with 3MB or 5MB RAM (very slowly, no graphics), but not from floppy disk.

I think you need 8MB of RAM for that. You can copy the non-floppy-disk version to a DOS partition on your 200MB hard drive and run it from there.

You need to split the 2.8MB file up into two pieces so you can copy it to two floppy disks and from there to the hard drive, where you combine them into one bif file again.

If you have a parallel transfer or nullmodem cable you can transfer files with it via DOS (interlnk, intersvr). Steven, does the latest BL include the split program for making the 2.8MB file into two smaller files that can be transferred via floppy disk?

Maybe you can download split.exe from the internet on some other computer.

De nada. Your English is quite understandable.
