10.31 (latest stable). What error messages did you get while trying?
Could you report them to the author?


If you cannot get it to compile, try a slightly older
version of netpbm.

10.30 or 10.29 or 10.28?
He fixed pmtoppa in 10.28 (but I think it still has problems).

I will see how far I get making symlinks first, then try gcc 2.95.3.
Nothing is ever straightforward compiling new software with old software.
