One question: where is the usb-storage module?

I know little about USB (it's no use to me). I simply
included the USB modules that appeared when I compiled
the kernel.

You need it to be able to use most USB disk drives,
card readers, cameras, etc.

I have little interest in pursuing full USB compatibility.

(Note: You have to enable CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL to be able
to select it.)

I won't be doing an experimental kernel for BL3. Users
wanting that kind of capability can compile their own.

Please could you post the config files for the kernels?
The only use I would have for a 2.2.26 kernel is for usb-storage.
I will eventually attempt to compile my own kernel.

I will try the kernel on a scsi zip drive, sb16 sound, and usbmouse. Do I need uhci.o usb-uhci.o usbcore usbmouse and mousedev? (Or usb-ohci, depending on the computer).

It would at least be helpful to test USB ports with a USB mouse in linux, since we don't have it figured out in DOS.

Cheers,
Steven
