Yep - slackware 4.0 - tried full install and got the same problem as the bl1
version.

gpm -t ps2

This worked fine on bl1, but fails on bl3

I will have a look, but I thought those options only changed responsiveness,
speed, etc - so won't help if it doesn't work to start with.

It runs fine under gpm and BL1, and in other linux flavours I have used
(debian, suse)
