I installed BasicLinux 3.02 (BL3) on a Toshiba Libretto C50, Pentium 70, 32 MB of RAM. I have loaded BL3 and it works fine in character mode. But when I go "startx" the screen goes black and there is no mouse pointer.
The built in pointing device is supposed to be a PS-2 compatible. If necessary I can add a real PS2 mouse to a PS2 port. I'm pretty sure that the mouse is not the problem.
The video chip is Chips and Technologies.
Can some one give me some tips on getting this working?
