It is not uncommon for processes to use floating-point
math. That includes X, which uses floating-point for
font scaling.

Copro emulation is done by the kernel.

The BL2 kernel has several kernel capabilities turned off
in order to make it smaller/faster. It does not provide
copro emulation (which means you must have a 486DX or
Pentium to use it). On the other hand, the BL1 kernel
is a standard kernel that provides all common kernel
capabilities (including copro emulation).

BL2 is not suitable for 386 and 486SX computers. It is
not suitable for 4mb RAM. Those systems should use BL1.
