Your reference of 2Ki 23:2 got me thinking about looking for this collocation
(lamed + min + X) with other words. There are actually a lot more than I
suspected. Quite a number occur in the L+M+X... AD context (from... to). I
scanned through the list but didn't study it in detail yet (see lists below).
Hag 2:18 may be instructive, however, because it has both the more common Min
+ yom form and the L+Min form in the same verse. Ezra 3:13 is also
interesting because it has AD עד BEFORE the L+Min+X form.

The pre-positioned combination L-MI- appears also in L-MI-QATON of 2Ki 23:2.
I am not detecting a substantial difference of meaning between L-MI- YOM and
MI-YOM, but the poetic build-up of L-MI-YOM seems to me a kind of "up from
the day", containing a whiff of a rhetoric overstatement.
