Hi, list.
We have in Ex 34:6 noun "apayim" (a pair of noses in its literal meaning)
that is the dual of "af" (nose) (Ps 78:21).

My question is: when forming their dual, are all nouns that in their basic
form consist of two root consonants with patah under the first one, taking a
strong dagesh in the second root consonant?

Is there a cutting answer to this question? Is noun 'af' an exception, an
especial case?
