The Masoretic vocalization seems to me close to Ieaoa
(iod-schwa-hey-holam-kamatz-silent hey). Since the vocalization is not
congruent with YHWH being a verb, we can't assume that schwa is vocal. In
any case, schwa sound - if any - would be assimilated into hey sound. Thus,
I read the Masoretic YHWH as Iaoa, or Iao for YHW, and hey.
