No. Lack of evidence for sources is not proof that there were none; Moses was not under the modern obligation to include a bibliography. And there is a real possibility that Moses was working from oral tradition, which can be preserved almost unchanged for thousands of years. (And of course there is the other possibility that Moses made it all up.)

Why? Why not Egyptian, which was perhaps Moses' first language?
