The genealogies of the kinks of Byblos was figgured out by Mazar and others
long ago. But why would Sheshonq I, who (according to his own inscription)
ravaged Israel, be considered a "savior" by the Bible? This "savior" is
usually thought to be Adad-Nirari III, who subjugated Aram and Israel,
saving Israel from teh Arameans.
