By the way, CANE does not have anything about Arameans before the Iron Age
(Vol II, the overview of Aramean history and civilization by Paul Dion). Nor
does Liverani, Stora (1988), nor Kuhrt, The Ancient Near East, 1995. Kuhrt
dos not reckon any source mentioning the Chaldeans before the 9th century
(but says that they probably were in southern Mesopotamia befofre that date.
She mentions Dietrich on the Chaldenas (1970) as a source for the
combination Aram-Chladu but finds it like most authors unlikely. If
anything, the Chaldeans seem to be the southrn cousin of the Arameans -- at
most, and then goes the theory of a Ur Kasdimin Northern Mesopotamia.

Nice try, but we need precise evidence.
