Thanks for your response, and thanks for your earlier one re: $ekon yhvh
and the "presence" of the Lord.
So I guess using I Kings 8:11 of the priests "being unable to stand up" is
another example of poor Charismatic exegesis, i.e., when they compare this
to the soldiers falling down in John 18:6 when they come to arrest Jesus
and use it to develop a doctrine of being "slain in the Spirit."
Kind of like the misinterpretion of Isaiah 10:27 to preach that "the
anointing breaks the yoke" (i.e., the Anointing of the Holy Spirit breaks
bondages of demons and bad habits and lack of freedom in one's life and
worship, etc.)....
