There is always so much to learn, and I have always felt that the more
one knows, the more one realizes what more there is to learn, Una.
I am a retired teacher, so I tend to approach things from an
educational perspective.

Regarding evaluation: We have a de-briefing and discuss what could
have happened, what did happen, and what worked. We also pair up less
trained members with those whose skills are more in tact.

We have an evaulation paper for Obstacle Training and will have an
assessment form for the Riddle Ride. The first is required for the
application process, the second is general training.

someone mentioned a conference, and I would surely like to take
advantage of this at some point. We have other members who just soak
up this kind of thing. Several of us have participated in a MSAR
training at the Ky. Horse Park and also a CERTS training.

Always appreciate input from trained MSAR folks who are happy to share
their experiences. M

Excellent! What about your evaluation process? How do you
assess performance? If a trainee has poor performance overall,
how do you determine which of these multiple skill sets was
the problem? Particularly when a team is involved, it would
appear is the case here?
