Greetings,

I'd suggest that this is the same as putting down Tulare SAR in the space
for "What Organization". We were all asked to coordinate through our local
Citizen Corps Council. I do not believe it indicates that FEMA is
recognizing NASAR as an organization that responds to incidents.

NASAR isn't a response organization. I really hope they're not getting into
the response business, at least not without a lot of discussion with their
membership.

I, for one, am not paying membership dues to NASAR to deploy to disasters.

NASAR personnel were asked by FEMA to coordinate through their local Citizen

Corps Council. I know some responded because I saw "NASAR" indicated under
the "What Organization?" section on the personnel printout from both FEMA
and the State of CA showing who responded.
