<<<<The world's primary source of industrial energy is oil and crude oil
production
peaked in 2005.  Yes, I know you can find tables and charts from IEA and
other organizations that show that world oil production has edged up since
then, but that increase is fakery. >>>>
Fakery - true.  Additionally, two whistleblowers recently confirmed that the
IEA have significantly overstated the oil reserve numbers under pressure from
"U.S. interests".  I.E. they lied.

<<<<<<as soon as major industrial activity starts again, the cost of energy
will rise
again thowing the economy back into recession.>>>>>

Another huge component of oil prices is an inverse relationship to the
USDollar a/k/a PetroDollar.  Even though demand has been down due to a
worldwide economic slowdown, oil prices have risen off their lows because the
USD has been falling against other sovereign currencies. 80% of the world
still purchases oil in USDollars.  Therefore, even without an increase in
economic activity, oil prices can still rise if the dollar keeps falling
relative to other currencies.  Shorter term oil prices may fall temporarily,
however, longer term the dollar is collapsing and oil prices in the US will
rise as a result.  Foreigners recognize what is going on with our government
and their policy with the dollar (they speak about a strong dollar and take
actions to destroy the dollar) - and are increasing their clamours to remove
the US(petro)Dollar as the world's "hard" currency (i.e. the currency needed
to settle oil contracts).

From this article:  The Simple Math of CO2 Reduction

NASA:  by 2030 human activity will account for about 3.3% of global CO2
production
IEA/EIA:  te United States is projected to contribute 15.8% of world human
emissions in 2030

"Therefore:
America’s projected share of total world CO2 emissions in 2030 is 3.3% x
15.8% = 0.52%.

Barack Obama has pledged that by 2030, America will have decreased its CO2
emissions by 42%.
How effective will that cut be versus America’s projected emissions? Do the
math.

3.3% x 15.8% x 42%  =  .22% of total world carbon emissions in 2030, and
15.8% x 42%  =  6.64% of all human emissions from the consumption of fossil
fuels."

Suggested to read the article for the effects inside the US on reducing CO2
emissions by 42%.

The problem with all the pundits and journalistic experts is they seem to
forget that all CO2 is not created equal. If it were, you couldn't tell the
difference between naturally occuring and man created CO2. Gaia had a
natural balance going on with the ocean and vegetation creating and
absorbing CO2. A balance meaning that most of it is absorbed. Not so with
human created CO2. Only about 40% gets absorbed by the ocean, etc. The
other 60% is the problem.

Polution isn't limited to CO2. Methane (CH4) has more than doubled since
the industrialization of the world. Nitrous oxide (N2O) is up by 27%.

Tricholorofluormethane concentrations, CFC-12, CF-113, HCFC-22, HCFC-141b,
HCFC-142b, Halon 1211, Halon 1301, HFC-134a, Carbon tetrachloride, methyl
chloroform, sulfur hexafluoride and other halocarbons didn't exist in the
atmosphere until after the Industrial Revolution. All man made. There is
no natural recovery system for those.

I'd like to know where they get their numbers in the article since they
don't correlate with any numbers I have seen. The U.S. is the biggest
consumer of petroleum products. It is the second largest creator of CO2.
That puts them at over 20%, not 15.8%.

So, the real math should use non-absorbed CO2 as its standard. So 20.2% of
60% = 12%, not .52%. And to follow on with his "new" math, that would
leave the U.S. reducing the total by 5%.

HOWEVER <g> lets look at the reality which is over 30 million metric tons of
junk going into the atmosphere of which the U.S. is responsible for over 6
million metric tons. The U.S. is aiming at reducing that by 2.5 million
metric tons. A somewhat bigger number than the game with %.

I live on a private road or I live out a dirt road. They are both true and
accurate. However, which one puts a more positive picture in people's
minds. It is all in how you word things.
