Did DOS truncate usb-storage.o to the 8-letter-plus-extension usb-stor?

Looks like a serious bug in usb-storage. Or else a hardware
problem, but I do not believe that to be likely.

Insert sd_mod.o and attempt to mount the USB drive. If it
fails, please let us know.
