Unfortunately, I don't think that early written evidence will help here.

The indication of vowel sounds, even final ones, by H, A, etc.
started relatively late in the development of Hebrew
(and indeed never really finished).

So unless we can hear the early Semitic speakers,
we won't know if and how they added an AH suffix.
