I've never had trouble sharing files between the 'guest' and 'host'
operating systems using a Windows VMWare image on a Fedora box. In fact
I tend to prefer this option since I usually don't allocate a huge
amount of NTFS/FAT space for my Windows box anyway (usually just enough
for the OS and my apps).
